New Beginnings Christian Center

October 27th through the 31st is Red Ribbon Week here at New Beginnings.  One week out of each year we join with other schools and community organizations in promoting greater awareness among our youth and their families as to the many dangers of substance abuse.  This year our focus at New Beginnings is on recognizing the way that media portrays substance abuse and other dangerous activities and how we are impacted by these presentations.

Tuesday, October 28th - "Don't Let Drugs Turn You"

• Students are encouraged to wear clothing inside out.

 

Wednesday, October 29th - "Sock it to Drugs"

• Wear your craziest socks!
• Gentlemen's Media Matters Assembly

 

Thursday, October 30th - "Turn your back on Drugs"

• Wear your clothes backwards.
• Ladies' Media Matters Assembly

 

Friday, October 31st - "Red Ribbon Day"

• Everyone wear Red!
